Introductory Series to Iyengar Yoga


Come learn and practice the fundamentals of Iyengar Yoga in this series of four classes. The Iyengar Yoga method teaches correct alignment of classical yoga poses in a clear and safe way. In this series, you will learn basic yoga poses that will prepare you to partake in the regular yoga classes on our schedule.  If you've never taken a yoga class or a beginner looking to strengthen the basic poses in your practice, this series is for you.

Savasana: Deep Restoration


Savasana, the final pose of most yoga classes, is usually reserved as a relaxing afterthought. However, Iyengar himself called savasana “the most difficult of yoga poses.” In its purest form, savasana is a discipline…for both body and mind. This workshop will immerse you in the asana’s full meaning, providing a deeper journey than most yoga classes have time to explore.

You will be guided through the subtle mechanics of the pose and led into a deep state of relaxation. Gentle, hands-on adjustments to your head and spine will enhance your experience, while therapeutic essential oils will be applied to stimulate your senses.

Savasana: Deep Restoration will help you release the attachments that weigh down your physical and spiritual self. You will never view the pose the same again. Each time you practice Savasana after this workshop, you will become more awakened, renewed, and resolved to meet life’s joys and challenges.
